SquadsMeet, LLC ("SquadsMeet," "we," "us," or "our") provides a team communication and scheduling platform ("Service") for sports teams, coaches, players, parents, and organizers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. Name, email, phone number (if provided), password, profile photo, and role (player, coach, parent, manager).

Team content. Team names, rosters, schedules, events, messages, RSVPs, availability, files, photos, and any other content you or your teammates submit.

Usage data. Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, log data, crash reports, and product analytics.

Cookies & similar technologies. Used for authentication, preferences, and basic analytics on our website.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts
  • Deliver notifications, schedule reminders, and team messages
  • Respond to support requests
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • With your team. Content you post is visible to members of teams you join.
  • Service providers. Vendors that host infrastructure, send notifications, process analytics, or provide customer support, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal & safety. When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users 13 and older. Youth athletes under 13 may use the Service only under a parent or guardian account or with verifiable parental consent obtained by their team organizer. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without such consent. Contact us to remove any such data.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account, after which we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights in-app or by contacting us at the email below. Apple App Store and Google Play users may also request account deletion directly within the app.

7. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Users

We are based in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and where appropriate notify you in-app or by email.
