Terms of Service
Effective June 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SquadsMeet, LLC ("SquadsMeet," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of the SquadsMeet websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service. Team organizers are responsible for ensuring that minors on their teams have appropriate consent to participate.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
- Post content that is harassing, abusive, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Use the Service for unsolicited advertising or spam
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). You grant SquadsMeet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate these Terms or any third-party right.
5. Teams & Organizers
Team owners and admins are responsible for managing their team, members, and content, including obtaining any consents required to add minors. Content posted within a team is visible to that team's members.
6. Fees
The core Service is currently free. We may introduce paid features in the future, in which case applicable terms and pricing will be disclosed before purchase.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by SquadsMeet or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may interoperate with third-party services (e.g., calendars, notifications, app stores). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SQUADSMEET AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SquadsMeet from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
